What people are saying.
At the time of writing, I have been working with Scott for 22 months. I had never had a trainer before and was not convinced I would really benefit from one. I had the very wrong belief that he would point out my shortcomings repeatedly and hurt my (already precarious) self-esteem.
22 months later, I am proud to say that Scott is certainly my trainer, and more importantly, my friend. I approached Scott to help me weight-train for the first time as I wanted to run the Chicago marathon. I was running the marathon to prove to myself that I could accomplish a fitness goal. I would NOT have crossed the finish line without his training help OR his mental help. Scott truly wants to help people be the best versions of themselves. I have lost weight and gained muscle beyond my expectations while working with him – however, what I value the most is the way he’s helped me train my mind. I know I can do the next rep, run the next mile, or stay on my feet for just a minute more. He repeatedly shows you that just showing up to work out is the toughest battle, and if you can do that over and over, you WILL achieve your goals.
The way Scott believes in his clients is really inspiring. He fully believes each of his clients can achieve anything and can inspire him too. I have recommended Scott to friends and family and hope to see his continued success.

“I've been working with Scott for almost a year now and I can honestly say the experience has been awesome. Scott is a true fitness professional -- someone who takes the art of training clients seriously and comes prepared to every exercise session with you ready with a unique and interesting workout so that I'm never bored and my motivation remains strong week after week. Scott also gets results! After my initial evaluation we did a 3 month reassessment and I had lost 10 pounds, reduced my overall body fat %, BMI, and increased my total body strength. I have recommended Scott to friends and family and think he's one of the best investments I've made in myself since I turned 50.”

“My name is Amy and I have been training with Scott for 2 years. Prior to meeting him, I was overweight and struggled with severe asthma. Scott worked with me which a lot of trainers would not do due to the severity and limitations caused by my asthma. He pushed me to train hard, while keeping my breathing and asthma under control. I have never met a trainer more dedicated to his job. He listens to his clients and what their fitness goals are. I have lost over 90 lb. and have control of my asthma now. I owe it all to him and his innovative training techniques.”

“I've worked out with a number of trainers over the last few years, but far and away my best experience has been with Scott Kreger. I've been training with Scott for over six months now, and I'm consistently impressed by his knowledge, dedication and commitment to his clients. I'm a high-maintenance client with lots of random body issues, but Scott is able to push me beyond my comfort zone while at the same time modifying my workouts to avoid my various injuries. I never thought I'd brag about how many push-ups I could do, but thanks to Scott, it occasionally slips out in conversation. I highly recommend Scott for personal training, whatever your fitness goals are.”

“Scott Kreger is a really innovative trainer. You won't see other people at the gym doing the same moves. Every exercise has a side benefit, or multiple benefits. Scott's programs work out the entire body. Even if it’s "upper body day," the lower body, core, and cardio will still be incorporated into our workouts. When Scott isn't there, I'm still using his techniques, and find others around me wondering why they haven't thought of these techniques before. Not only am I gaining in strength and physique, but also in balance and endurance. And along the way Scott is teaching me not only what works, but why it works and what the proper technique is.”

“Scott Kreger is an exceptional and motivational trainer. As a 22 year old I was experiencing health problems such as allergies (particularly a seafood allergy, and I love seafood) and reflux disease due to excessive stress. I wanted and needed a natural way to reduce my stress. I knew that going to the gym on my own would not be enough because I did not know the proper ways to exercise. I signed up for a personal trainer and I knew on the first day that Scott was going to be the one to help me achieve my goal of reducing my stress. He is very knowledgeable about creating and teaching exercises that utilize all parts of your body. He knows how to isolate certain areas of your body for strengthening while making sure the rest of your body gets a work out as well. Not only does Scott know how to train and exercise, he is very good at pushing you and motivating you to become better and stronger. He knows when he needs to push you as well as when you need a break. He is non-judgmental and creates a program that is appropriate for your body and work out needs. Scott is so skilled at training because he practices what he preaches. Scott’s lifestyle is being healthy and fit and he works out everyday. Now, after only a few months, I currently do not experience any problems or effects from my allergies and reflux disease. I can eat seafood again and my body has never been more physically healthy and in shape!”

“I am writing to, I suspect, reaffirm what Scott’s clients have already seen for themselves; Mr. Scott Kreger, is an exceptionally outstanding Fitness Coach.
Let me provide a little context. I’m 64, and the first of this year, I retired as a partner from a company that worked with Fortune 500 blue chip companies to produce their sales meetings and internal communications. I mention that because my company had to operate within a bruisingly competitive industry, and our people would interact and consult with C-level leaders who are uncompromising in their demand for world-class service from their consultants. Point being, over the decades, I had to become a discerning judge of character in order to populate our engagements with individuals who would keep such demanding, high-maintenance, high-touch clients satisfied.
In any event, I had been promising myself for years I would get myself in better shape, but didn’t want to begin a program until I could maintain the commitment (an impossibility with a 100k mile a year travel schedule). However, last year, with retirement looming, I began investigating personal trainers when I stumbled across an ad for Scott’s services.
Scott fielded my inquiry, came out to do an evaluation and explain the service, and I was totally impressed with his exceptional communication skills, focus, personable style, and overall professionalism. I was sold!
He is unfailingly observant and specific in analyzing my weaknesses (which, sad to say, are numerous … but what the hell, we are working on them!). He is also challenging me in a way that is inspiring but not demoralizing, and I can truly sense and see how sincere and passionate he is about seeing me progress and succeed.
To sum up, for all those years I was a partner in my company, I always felt my biggest role was identifying and nurturing the next generation of the company’s leaders. That’s why I always appreciated it when clients would share with me their positive experiences with any of our employees. It is in that spirit that I share my belief, borne of first hand experience, that Scott is an especially valuable Fitness Coach who gets his clients outstanding results.
Sincere congratulations on your success to date and very best wishes for more of the same in the days ahead.”
